Awaiting My Beloved Heavenly Bridegroom!

"Make haste, my Beloved, and be thou like a roe
or a young hart upon the mountains of spices."

Song of Solomon 8:14

My Beloved Bridegroom ...

Oh, how I look forward to your return and our meeting
together on the mountains of spices, where the sweet
aroma of our devoted love for one another will permeate
the air declaring to all our everlasting love for one another.

When you first spoke to me of your love for me - I was
overwhelmed that someone so wonderful as yourself could
love someone like me. But you have proved to me over
and over that your love is everlasting. I haven't always
been so lovable but that never changed your mind about
loving me.

When you asked me if I wanted to spend eternity with
you in a place that you would prepare especially for me -
I was in awe. That meant that you wanted to spend
eternity - forever and ever - with me. That brought
such abounding joy to my heart.

When I was sentenced to die for the wrongs I had done,
you stepped in and gave your life that I might live. I
wept penitent tears of remorse that my wrongs had cost
you your life. But I have never felt so loved as I did
then.  No one else would have loved me so much.
Jubilation filled my heart when I learned that you had
been resurrected and were going to prepare that place
you told me about and would return to take me there
when it was ready. I want you to know that I have been
trying to prepare for your return so that I will be ready
to go with you when you come for me.

Out of the abundant love that fills my heart for you, I
want to tell you that I am so euphoric that I am Yours
and You are mine. My heart knows but one true love - the
love I have for you. My deepest longing is to be one with
you forever. How I cherish the thought of being able to
place my hand in yours and walk side by side with you
throughout eternity. What joy we shall have as we
delight in one another!

I have read and re-read the letters you sent to me
and stored up the words in my heart that I might remain
true to you no matter how long I have to wait for your
return. Because they are so full of loving re-assurance
of your eternal love for me they strengthen my heart
and give me the encouragement I need during this time
of waiting. You so lovingly and willingly poured out your
life for me, now I willingly give all of myself to you
without reserve.

Come, My Beloved - I Await You!

"Place me like a seal over your heart
or like a seal on your arm."
Song of Solomon 8:6

"Many waters cannot quench love;
neither can rivers drown it."
Song of Solomon 8:7

"Who is this coming up from the wilderness,
leaning upon her Beloved?"
Song of Solomon 8:5

"And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again and receive you to Myself;
that where I am, there you may be also."
John 14:3

Music: Heavenly Sunlight

Heavenly sunlight, Heavenly sunlight,
flooding my soul with glory divine.

In the bright sunlight, ever rejoicing,
pressing my way to mansions above;

Singing His praises gladly I'm walking,
walking in sunlight, sunlight of love.
